For more than 20 years Charms™ has been used by children's services in the UK and Ireland to enable safe record keeping and to allow all stakeholders secure access to sensitive information for those that need it, when they need it.
Charms™ is used by more than 80% of independent fostering and adoption agencies in the UK and Ireland. Some 45,000 active users benefit from the use of Charms™ every single minute of every single day.
Commissioning authorities, with the same responsibilities as state authorities in the USA, have full access to cost-effective Charms™ tools to allow them to see how children for whom they are responsible are progressing under the care of independent agencies. Everyone involved in the care of children knows, at all times, what each child's outcomes are.
Social Care Network Solutions (USA) LLP is now established in Phoenix, Arizona and we can offer the full child welfare case management and reporting system at a fraction of the cost of other systems.
Social Care Network Solutions (USA) LLP can offer this because we are a not for profit agency, employing local Phoenix staff and our people, in the UK and USA, are committed to helping the child welfare community in their efforts to provide the best care for children and young people.
Care agencies keep up-to-date records in Charms™ - of children, foster parents and adopters along with case notes recorded by social workers. Charms™ has full, end to end security and encryption, and all of those involved in children's care have real time access which gives adopters, foster parents, social workers, Department Of Child Safety officers and all other professionals the ability to communicate with each other for the benefit of children in their care.
Charms™ is accessible anywhere you need it.

Their knowledge is supported through dedicated use of an online system that centrally records information from carers, staff and managers in one place. This helps to track progress and outcomes for children and young people.
Rigorous and effective monitoring of the service is aided by comprehensive use of a recognised online information system. This is used by carers and staff alike to record all aspects of the agency’s work and to track the individual progress of children and young people. By providing all with relevant access, information is shared more effectively and efficiently. For example, supervising social workers are able to review daily records completed by foster carers in advance of supervision visits. This helps them to maintain awareness of significant developments and to support carers appropriately. Records of supervision visits can be accessed by foster carers as soon as they are completed. This enables foster carers to be clear about advice or direction given to them by supervising social workers during visits. Leaders and managers have close links with the software manufacturer and are able to influence positive changes in the system. All users have access to technical support to assist when problems occur.

CHARMS has changed our business and the service we provide, and in every respect for the better. No more endless trawling through paper files -I am able to put my finger on the information I need at the touch of a button. It helps everyone to be proactive and identify issues before they become big problems. Having CHARMS means we are better prepared for an OFSTED Inspection than ever before and that is incredibly reassuring. It really does free up staff to do what they do best -supporting foster carers and children…..and they love CHARMS for that.
Working with Social Care Network is excellent-it’s a real partnership and when there are problems the service desk is prompt and reliable. They are great problem solvers.

We are happy with Charms. The system still has a lot of potential that we are currently not even using and only just getting to know. The SCN account managers and support staff are always approachable, friendly and happy to help and flexible and customer/Team Fostering focused whenever we had to arrange site visits.
- Katrin Mummert
Data Officer, Team Fostering
Our Adoption Team finds CHARMS to be a user friendly system that allows for easy management of our adoption records. The system can be tweaked and adapted really easily in order that it ‘fits’ our service and does just what we require it to do. We’re also aware that it will do a whole lot more than we actually use it for at present and hope to build on its usefulness over time. There is rarely a problem with CHARMS, but whenever there is an issue, help and guidance is only a phone call away. The support team at Social Care Network are approachable, friendly and helpful and invariably solve any problems within minutes.
- Paula Gibbins
Assistant Adoption Team Manager, Nugent Care Adoption Service
Ways into Work were an in house service and moved out as a Community Interest Company in March 2015 and Social Care Network were an integral part of ensuring a smooth transition to a specialist CRM system.
Chris Clough was incredibly supportive during the transition and has continued to support the team in developing a system that works for the changing needs of the organisation. The team has found the system easy to use and love the mobile version which has given them the flexibility to work smarter. The helpdesk are helpful in resolving issues and always happy to work through to find a solution to meet an individual need.
We would recommend Social Care Network to other Supported Employment Services, great product, excellent service!

CHARMS is launching in Arizona.
CHARMS is the market leader in the UK and Ireland and after a month long fact finding mission in the USA in October 2018 we came to the conclusion that CHARMS could help child protection services in USA.
We were greeted, last October, by Ruth Soberanes from GPEC and Kelly Sandin from ASU and they made us feel so welcome that we decided that Phoenix, Arizona should be our landing place and our base for the establishment of our new US company, Social Care Network USA LLC.
We set down in Phoenix on October 1st 2019 and our office will be at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center. in the Skysong soft landing facility in the ASU campus.
We are recruiting two local staff from the Greater Phoenix area and they will be running the new operation as soon as we can get them on board.
Our Managing Director.Jim Moores, said :
To say we are excited is an understatement. Me and Stuart Hill, our Commercial Director, are setting out on this adventure with the full backing of the team in the UK, though there may be a hint of jealousy. The help we have had from Ruth and Kelly has been invaluable and Kelly promises that our onboarding on October 1st should not be too scary.
'We are thrilled that Social Care Network has selected Arizona and chosen to partner with the Greater Phoenix Economic Council and Arizona State University as part of the Global Growth Accelerator. We welcome them whole heartedly into our vibrant ecosystem,' remarked Grace O'Sullivan, Associate Vice President, Corporate Engagement and Strategic Partnerships, ASU Knowledge Enterprise.
