Electronic Referral Generator from Outlook - ERGO. Not such a catchy title but Ergo (Latin - "therefore") will save fostering, adoption and other children's services a huge amount of time managing referrals from commissioners. On the Click of a button Ergo will extract the details of a referral from an email and it will create a new record inCHARMS. Not only that but Ergo will also save any attachments against the child's record. No more of that "Save Attachments", "Create Folder" and complete a referral form. Ergo will do it for you. Feb 2010 - Lincolnshire purchase ASSET

Our Mission is:

"Supporting adults in their local communities to access and progress their learning"

The service can help you to get back into learning, develop your skills and improve your career prospects. We can:

give advice on ways to search for and apply for jobs, e.g. interview skills, CV workshop, completing applications forms, basic IT skills.
help link your personal interests and skills to your job or career;
give advice on ways to progress in a career;
identify the skills you may need and refer you to other support (if necessary) to help you to improve your reading, writing and maths skills;
refer you to other support available;
help you understand the job market;
give advice about financial support available;
give advice about services available during redundancy, including how to access services;
give advice about what is and is not available, and discuss alternatives.
The team have extensive experience of supporting people with a range of needs, many of whom have multiple barriers to overcome.

The service is also the primary deliverer of careers advice, advice and guidance services, and a range of other advice services across the borough.
