CHL is delighted to announce a breakthrough partnership with Mobile Data UK that brings together MDUK’s professional mobile technology and CHIMES’ expertise to allow music teachers to update registers of attendance securely and in real-time. Using MDUK's application on your own mobile phone/iphone (or ANY mobile device including a web based PC) the CHIMES list of pupils attending a rehearsal or tuition activity may be "downloaded" and you can inform the pupil records, there and then, if a pupil does/does not attend. No more bits of paper flying around; click a button and it's done.

Electronic Referral Generator from Outlook - ERGO. Not such a catchy title but Ergo (Latin - "therefore") will save fostering, adoption and other children's services a huge amount of time managing referrals from commissioners. On the Click of a button Ergo will extract the details of a referral from an email and it will create a new record inCHARMS. Not only that but Ergo will also save any attachments against the child's record. No more of that "Save Attachments", "Create Folder" and complete a referral form. Ergo will do it for you. Another high profile success for CHL and ASSET. We are pleased to announce that Lincolnshire County Council have now purchased ASSET - the most widely used Supported Employment System in the UK. Our thanks go to Robin, Lisa, Peter and the rest of the team at Lincs for choosing ASSET. Installation and training are underway (as at 2/3/2010) and will be complete by end Mrach.
